CST’s Brycen Neal and Joel Hetrick dominated the competition at GNCC and ATV MX National Championship races this weekend.
This weekend was another in a series of triumphs for CST-sponsored athletes. In West Virginia, Brycen Neal kept up his dominance of this season’s GNCC, securing a thrilling win at Snowshoe Mountain, while in Illinois, Joel Hetrick remained undefeated in the 2024 ATV MX National Championship with victories in both motos at Round 7, Sunset Ridge.
Riding Pulse MXR tires, Hetrick took the top spot at Round 7 despite scorching temperatures, the result of a heat wave that has bedeviled much of the eastern half of the U.S. for the past week. He’s won both motos at every round to date this year and leads AT MX rankings by 47 points with a total of 325.
The win at Snowshoe was Neal’s seventh out of nine rounds and extends his lead in ATV XC1 standings to 51 points, for a total of 252. With just four rounds to go, his odds of taking a third GNCC championship continued to improve. Neal navigated the demanding Snowshoe course (including Howard’s Hole) with exceptional skill, overtaking his competition in the final laps. Reflecting on his triumph, he shared on Instagram, “We conquered the mountain!! Stoked to grab the W on one of the best @snowshoemtn tracks we’ve ever had! The fans were unreal this weekend!! The mountain never disappoints!!” His choice of Pulse HT tires proved crucial once again, providing optimal traction and durability on Snowshoe’s rugged terrain.
GNCC Round 10, the Buckwheat 100, is scheduled for August 30 – September 1 in Newburg, West Virginia, and ATV MX Round 8 will be held July 6-7 at Pleasure Valley Raceway in Seward, Pennsylvania.

The eighth round of the GNCC series took place in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, where ideal weather conditions set the stage for an intense competition. Walker Fowler initially seized the holeshot award, but it was Neal who showcased remarkable skill and perseverance throughout the race. Battling fiercely with Fowler, Neal managed to secure the lead on the final lap, crossing the finish line just 1.1 seconds ahead of Fowler.
“Man, what a day! We had to dig hard to get that one! Battled back all day to make the last lap pass and grab the win! Big thanks to everyone in my corner!!” Neal posted on Instagram, capturing the spirit and tenacity of his performance.
Neal has dominated the series, winning six of the eight rounds thus far. His victory further cements his lead in the Overall National Championship Standings with a total of 222 points, ahead of Fowler who has 186 points. Neal’s remarkable season continues to inspire and elevate the standards in cross-country ATV racing.

Brycen Neal has done it again! Just like last year, he clinched his GNCC championship on CST’s Pulse HT tires. Neal locked down his title at the Kanati Tires GNCC Buckwheat 100, the next-to-last race on this year’s Progressive GNCC schedule.
A mechanical issue added some drama to his run: Neal made a pass and took the lead in the second lap until the problem sidelined him for several minutes. He and his team patched things up, and he went on to take 9th in XC1 Pro and 12th overall. His finish upped his year-to-date total to 266, giving him a 36-point lead and sealing his second straight championship.
“Mannnn what a day! Grabbed a great start and jumped into the lead on lap 1 and was able to get a gap and I was absolutely feeling awesome out there all day! Super bummed not to be able to finish that last lap ride in and bring home a win, we suffered a electrical problem but was able to scramble and get the bike back going again and make it to the finish to clinch the championship!! Riding CST’s Pulse HT tires, Brycen Neal won his first-ever GNCC Racing Overall ATV National Championship at the last race of the season, the Ironman. The event was held October 22 in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
Although the season’s points race ended in a tie (both Neal and another athlete had 325), Neal’s eight wins put him over the top to take the title. “What a year and a season it was for us, I’m so happy to bring this home for all of my family, friends & great sponsors who keep this program rolling!!” he said on Instagram.

With just three races left in the season, Brycen Neal is holding onto his overall GNCC points lead via his latest victory. Neal outperformed his competition at the Hoosier, held May 7 at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
Neal (Magna1 Motorsports) was close behind the lead rider on the first lap, gained the lead with a pass in Lap 2 and then held his position through to the finish line. His win at the Hoosier was his third consecutive GNCC victory and fourth in the season’s six races. “It was a killer weekend of @gncc_racing! Was able to bring home the win and make it 3 in a row!” he said on Instagram. As he has throughout this wildly successful season, Neal chose CST Pulse HT tires to take him to victory.
Round 7 of the GNCC season, the John Penton, is scheduled for May 21-22 at the Sunday Creek Raceway in Millfield, Ohio.

With his third win of the season, Brycen Neal has grabbed the lead in GNCC standings. Neal took a hard-won victory at Round 5, Camp Coker Bullet, held April 9 in Society Hill, South Carolina.
He might not have started in first place, but by the third lap, Neal and his CST Pulse HT tires had caught up to the lead athlete. He traded the front spot repeatedly before a pass in the last lap gave him the lead for good.
Neal (Magna1 Motorsports) has appeared on the podium at every race this year, with three victories plus second and third-place finishes to his credit. The five points he earned at Camp Coker Bullet gave him the series’ overall lead with 136 points
“Camp Coker finally treated us good this year, we grabbed the W & had a absolute blast out there! Gotta give this one up to my team, I got such great people around me ready to get after it next round!” he said on Instagram.

If ATV athletes have a lucky course, then Big Buck Farm is that track for Brycen Neal (Magna Motorsports). After winning the 2022 GNCC kick-off at the Union, South Carolina site, Neal returned to take his second victory of the season there at Round 4, the Tiger Run.
Riding CST Pulse HT tires just as he did for his February win, Neal spent the second lap of the Tiger Run trading the front spot with another rider. He then took the lead for good, increasing his margin to nearly 12 seconds by the finish line. With two podiums in addition to his victories, Neal is a strong second in points, just four away from first place. His results are all the more impressive in light of the knee injury he suffered last year, which required surgery and kept him out of action for eight months.

As racing schedules return to something resembling normal in 2022, CST Tires’ Beau Baron and Brycen Neal continue to barrel past the competition to deliver outstanding results. Baron took his third straight overall victory by winning both motos at WORCS Round 3, held March 4-6 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The same weekend, Magna1 Motorsports’ Brycen Neal was a close second at GNCC Moose Racing Wild Boar in Palatka, Florida.

After starting in fifth place, Neal worked his way to second by the second lap in at GNCC Wild Boar. He stayed close to the rider in front for the rest of the race, finishing less than a second behind to take the second-place spot on the podium. “Brought home a P2 on the weekend down here in Florida!” he commented on Instagram. “I’m pumped on the finish for riding in OH all winter long, the heat was tough on me yesterday but we battled for the lead all day down to the finish! Next up GA, let’s get it!”
Brandy Richards has won every WORCS Women’s Pro motorcycle race since the 2017 season, including this season’s first two rounds at Primm and Glen Helen. Fans are excited to see her win again at WORCS’ next moto round, scheduled for March 11-13 in Lake Havasu City.

After a devastating knee injury kept him away from racing for more than eight months, Brycen Neal’s return to the GNCC alone would have been reason to celebrate. But in a scenario straight out of a movie, Neal took the victory at that first race, winning the VP Racing Fuels Big Buck GNCC Round 1 in Union South Carolina.
Fifth away from the starting line, Neal worked his way to third by the third lap, with only .4 seconds separating him from the front runners. Riding neck-and-neck with the other riders for most of the final lap, Neal gained an advantage in the final corners to take the win.
Neal’s injury at a GNCC race in May 2021 required surgery the following month to repair his ACL and meniscus, and his Instagram post after the race reflected his joy at getting back to competition. “Words can barely describe this one. After eight and a half months off of racing, I’m so pumped to grab the win at my first GNCC race back! It’s been such a long grind to get back to this point to compete. But I’m excited for the weeks ahead to get back to work and improve,” he said. “After not racing for that long I made some silly mistakes and I’m still not where I want to be, but I’m just so dang happy to be racing again! I appreciate the love and support of everyone. It was so great to see everybody at the races again! Onto the next one.”
He was almost as thrilled with his CST tires. “Couldn’t have done it today without my Pulse HTs!” said Neal. The Pulse HT was designed with input from CST’s athletes and is versatile enough to hook up in almost any terrain.

Brycen Neal racked up his third win of the season at GNCC Round 6, the Hoosier, held May 1 in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
Neal (Bneal Motorsports/CST Tires/Houser Racing) moved steadily forward from the middle to take the lead in the third lap. He held the front spot through the rest of the race. His Pulse front and Pulse HT rear tires carried him across the finish line with a 39-second margin of victory. Even though mechanical problems caused him to finish just outside the top ten in the season’s second and fourth races, Neal currently holds third place in XC1 Pro standings.
In other good news for CST, six-time champion Beau Baron leads WORCS’ Pro ATV standings after winning his third race of the season, ATV/SXS Round 4, held April 9-11 in Taft, California. After starting in second place, he gained the lead on the second lap and never let it go.
Brandy Richards remains undefeated for the season in WORCS Women Pro, taking her latest victory despite a crash which injured her wrist during the race. Again, proving that it takes more than an injury to keep her down, she went on to take second place in Pro Am the following day. WORCS motorcycle Round 6 was held April 16-18 in Taft, California.
GNCC Round 7, the John Penton, is scheduled for May 22-23 in Millfield, Ohio. WORCS’ next ATV/SXS round is scheduled for June 4-6, and the next motorcycle round is scheduled for June 11-13, both in Preston, Idaho.

Brycen Neal took his second win of the year at Round 5 of the GNCC, the Dunlop Tires Tiger Run, held April 17 at Big Buck Farm in Union, South Carolina.
Neal (Bneal Motorsports/CST/Houser Racing) grabbed the lead in the second lap and held it through the rest of the race. His Pulse MXR tires were once again up to the challenge, providing the traction he needed in dry conditions along with reliable steering and cornering.
Despite being forced to miss the season’s second and fourth rounds due to mechanical problems, Neal holds fourth place in points. He’s made the podium at every round in which he’s competed, having taken second place at Round 3.

Overcoming a disastrous start, Brycen Neal took his CST Pulse and Pulse HT tires first across the XC1 Pro finish line at the GNCC opener, the VP Racing Fuels Big Buck in Union, South Carolina.
Neal worked steadily after his starting-line mishap, holding third place through most of Lap 1. Several passes into Lap 2, he gained the lead and held it for the remainder of the race, earning a five-point lead in Pro class rankings.

Fans of Adam McGill and CST tires can follow him and his crew on Instagram as they journey cross-country to Las Vegas for Best in the Desert’s Vegas to Reno race. Beginning August 14, McGill and his three crew members will document their trip on the CST Tires Instagram account, culminating in McGill’s competition in the 550-mile race.
In a video introducing the trip and his five-day social media takeover, McGill says that he is determined to finish the grueling event, no matter what. He’ll be riding his CST Pulse tires for Vegas to Reno, which begins August 17 and is expected to continue through the following morning. McGill also notes that both the trip and his competition in the race are intended to honor former, current, and future U.S. service members.

Quick thinking and a well-timed pass helped McGill Mafia/CST Tires/Moose Racing’s Adam McGill gain his first GNCC victory of the season. McGill won Round 4, FMF Steele Creek, held April 7 in Morganton, North Carolina.
After a fierce battle with another rider throughout the race, Layne McCormick won the Youth race. The win was also his third in a row for YXC1 Super Mini Sr. (13-15).
CST Camp Coker Bullet, Round 5 of the AMOIL GNCC series, is scheduled for April 21-22 in Society Hill, South Carolina. CST congratulates Adam McGill on his victory and thanks Brycen Neal for his fine performance.
With a victory in XC1 Pro, Brycen Neal attained a career first over the weekend. Neal topped the podium at AMSOIL GNCC Round 3, the Maxxis General, held March 17 in Washington, Georgia.
Neal, of Bneal Motorsports/CST Tires/Houser Racing, took the lead about a half-mile into the course. He didn’t drop behind for the rest of the race, even through the ultra-demanding Monster Mile, when he and Chris Borich were neck and neck. Despite a fierce challenge from Borich throughout the last lap, Neal held his lead and took his first-ever XC1 Pro GNCC win in a heart-stopping finish. After three rounds, he holds second place in points for the class.
Adam McGill had a difficult day but demonstrated grit and determination in finishing the race. Despite severe blisters on his hands which made steering next-to-impossible, he managed a top-ten finish, earning eighth place. McGill is currently fifth in XC1 points.
CST congratulates Brycen Neal on achieving this career first XC1 Pro victory, and looks forward to cheering both Neal and McGill on at the next GNCC race, FMF Steele Creek, scheduled for April 7-8 in Morganton, North Carolina.
With a sponsorship roster that includes returning stars and newly signed champions, CST Tires continues to step up its game in the world of ATV and off-road motorcycle racing. The company has built on solid results from last season by recruiting a powerhouse line-up for 2018.
“We have a deep roster this year, and we know that all of these riders are fully capable of winning a championship on CST tires. We’re very confident about our prospects,” said Chris Meyer, marketing coordinator for CST Tires.
New riders include eight-time ATVMX champion Nick Gennusa, who will again contest that series’ Pro class, and Brycen Neal, who’s gunning for the GNCC Pro title after taking second overall last season. Michael Swift will ride for CST in GNCC’s 4×4 Pro, UTV Pro, and Ace classes, as well as competing in the Heartland Challenge. Swift’s GNCC competition in 4×4 Pro and UTV Pro will include fellow CST rider Kevin Trantham, who is also new to the company’s roster.
CST’s returning stars include nine-time WORCS champion Beau Baron, who will compete in WORCS Pro ATV and Pro SxS, as well as Quad Cross and the Big 6 series in 2018. Adam McGill, who rode CST to fifth place overall in GNCC’s Pro class and appeared on the podium seven times in 2017, will work to leave his competition in the dust in the GNCC, IXCR ATV Pro Overall, and WEXCR Pro Overall. No stranger to the ATVMX podium, Thomas Brown will compete in that series’ Pro class, plus Pont de Vaux and QXON.
Desert racer Cory Sappington will again compete in both Best in the Desert and the SCORE-International series. Like his new teammates Swift and Trantham, Dwight Pollard is scheduled to race in GNCC’s 4×4 Pro class. Pollard will also compete in the series’ XC3 SxS class, as well as the Heartland Challenge, Mid East, SORCS, and IXCR. Sean Bogdan will compete in GNCC UTV XC1 Pro, and Justin Wood will race the series’ 4×4 Senior A class.
Racing motorcycles for CST will be Mitch Anderson. Among Mitch’s accomplishments during the past year was a team victory at the John Burr 10 Hours of Glen Helen.

Adam McGill turned in his best performance of the season at GNCC Round 4, taking an early lead and holding it for much of the first two laps. After a fierce battle with Walker Fowler through the rest of the race, he took second place despite being slowed during the final two laps by mechanical issues. His performance moved him into third place in the overall national championship standings.
At ATV Motocross National Championship (ATVMX) presented by CST Tires Round 2 at Underground MX Park, Thomas Brown made a late-racepass and rode CST’s new Pulse MXR to second place in Moto 1. A similar pass earned him third place in Moto 2, and Brown earned second place overall for the round. Brown is third in the ATMX overall national standings.
Beau Baron, who leads WORCS’ Pro standings, was undefeated in the series’ first four Pro rounds and most recently took second place in both Pro and Pro SxS at Round 6, The Orleans. “The CST Tires are awesome. The rears worked so well, especially. I couldn’t see running anything else here, especially considering the different surfaces,” he said regarding his tires’ performance during The Orleans.
He had just as much praise for his CST tires after The Orleans’ Pro SxS race. “I tried driving it like a go-kart and get as much traction as I could in the turns,” said Baron. “My CST Tires were working great. They just had so much traction.”
Also this weekend, Baron claimed second in Pro II at Round 4 of the Big 6 Grand Prix Series, a performance that followed his wins in the class at the series’ second and third rounds.

Riders on CST tires continue to make their mark on this season’s GNCC races. Winner William Yokley and teammate Scott Kiger took two UTV XC1 podium spots at Round 4, while Adam McGill took fourth place in ATV XC1 Pro. The event was held April 12 in Union, South Carolina.
Yokley’ said that his CST Behemoths aided in his victory. “The tires worked so well. The Behemoth is so predictable and provides a very plush ride. I love them, because they do exactly what I think they are going to do,” he said. After two UTV races, Yokley’s Polaris National Guard machine leads the UTV XC1 Modified class standings with 41 points, with Kiger’s Coastal National Guard machine just four points behind in third place.
McGill, who jockeyed with another rider in the front four throughout the main race, was just as pleased with the performance of his CST tires: “The tires never missed a beat all race; no holes and no worries, with a good pulse.”
