Baron Still Undefeated in WORCS after Round 4; Two in a Row for Hetrick with Win at ATV MX Round 2

CST’s athletes are not messing around this year; they’re going straight for the top of the podium and dominating the top of major series’ point standings. With his fourth straight WORCS win in as many rounds, Beau Baron is riding high in the Pro ATV class, while Joel Hetrick took the victory at AMA Pro Racing ATV MX National Championships Round 2.

Baron’s CST Pulse HT tires haven’t let him down this season, including at Round 4, held at Honolulu Hills Raceway in Taft, California. He started strong, taking the holeshot and then fighting a pitched battle all the way to the finish line. Baron continues to lead the Pro class in points. “Round 4 of #ProATV went well! A hard fought win after grabbing the @eliminatorracing/@jsrmotodesigns holeshot is a good feeling! Now time to jump in the RZR!!” he said on Instagram.

Hetrick won both motos at ATV MX Saturday. “All smiles this weekend @3palmsmx.  Came out strong in qualifying taking P1. Followed it up with a win in moto 1 and another win in moto 2! Stoked on my performance and the @phxracingatv Yamaha was working amazing! @dasaracing motor was ripping and my @csttiresusa were gripping. My @impact_solutions tuned @elkasuspension shocks were on point Saturday as well. I can’t be more happy with how the weekend went and I am so thankful that my family was able to travel with me to see it happen,” he said on Instagram. CST’s Jeffrey Rastrelli also did well at Three Palms, taking fifth place. Hetrick now holds a 13-point lead in the chase for the championship, with 75 points to date, and Rastrelli is fourth overall.

Both athletes rode CST Pulse MXR tires to the ATV MX podium. “I am so happy with my performance today and my team as well,” Hetrick said on Instagram. “@phxracingatv had my quad dialed in all day long despite the conditions. Grabbing the fastest qualifier, a heat race win and the main event win felt amazing! The emotions were real today after the main event. I’ve had some bad runs at Daytona, but today, I felt different. All of the training and riding @deckertrainingfacility was such a huge help for this race. Had a great battle most of the race until I was able to make it to the lead and bring home the win! Things don’t always go as planned, but I told myself going into this race I was going to win, and I did just that. Such a crazy start to the 2022 race season, but I am thankful to come out of this race healthy and on top. Time to go back to work for Round 2!!”

Rastrelli was also thrilled with his WORCS Daytona results. “Stoked to leave @daytona on the box! The track was very hard to pass on and rough. I struggled a bit halfway through the main event but started to turn it around at the end. We have some things to work on, but I am happy to leave with a podium. Back to work and onto Texas! Thank you so much to everyone that came to support me yesterday! It was amazing to see how many people came to support me from friends to family.. thank you!” he said on Instagram.

Hetrick’s win is the latest in a string of victories for CST athletes, who topped three podiums at WORCS Round 3. Chris Johnson took a victory in SxS, winning the Pro Stock class, while Beau Baron won the Pro race and later made another trip to the top of the podium when he took first place in SxS Pro Production. Ryan Piplic did well in the Mint 400, taking sixth place in UTV Pro Turbo.

CST Athletes Start ’22 Strong as Baron Wins Again at WORCS, Neal Is Second at GNCC Wild Boar and Richards Looks to Win at Upcoming WORCS Women’s Pro Moto

As racing schedules return to something resembling normal in 2022, CST Tires’ Beau Baron and Brycen Neal continue to barrel past the competition to deliver outstanding results. Baron took his third straight overall victory by winning both motos at WORCS Round 3, held March 4-6 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The same weekend, Magna1 Motorsports’ Brycen Neal was a close second at GNCC Moose Racing Wild Boar in Palatka, Florida.

“Two wins in one weekend!” Baron said on Instagram. “It’s hard to beat, and they don’t come easy! #ProATV  @worcsracing put on great racing as always. Huge thanks to all of my sponsors that make it all possible!”

After starting in fifth place, Neal worked his way to second by the second lap in at GNCC Wild Boar. He stayed close to the rider in front for the rest of the race, finishing less than a second behind to take the second-place spot on the podium. “Brought home a P2 on the weekend down here in Florida!” he commented on Instagram. “I’m pumped on the finish for riding in OH all winter long, the heat was tough on me yesterday but we battled for the lead all day down to the finish! Next up GA, let’s get it!”

Brandy Richards has won every WORCS Women’s Pro motorcycle race since the 2017 season, including this season’s first two rounds at Primm and Glen Helen. Fans are excited to see her win again at WORCS’ next moto round, scheduled for March 11-13 in Lake Havasu City.

WORCS’ next ATV/SxS round will be held April 1-3 in Taft, California, and GNCC Round 3, The Specialized General, is scheduled for March 11-13 in Washington, Georgia.

Neal Wins Again on Pulse Tires; Baron, Richards Win at WORCS Round 4

Brycen Neal racked up his third win of the season at GNCC Round 6, the Hoosier, held May 1 in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

Neal (Bneal Motorsports/CST Tires/Houser Racing) moved steadily forward from the middle to take the lead in the third lap. He held the front spot through the rest of the race. His Pulse front and Pulse HT rear tires carried him across the finish line with a 39-second margin of victory. Even though mechanical problems caused him to finish just outside the top ten in the season’s second and fourth races, Neal currently holds third place in XC1 Pro standings.

In other good news for CST, six-time champion Beau Baron leads WORCS’ Pro ATV standings after winning his third race of the season, ATV/SXS Round 4, held April 9-11 in Taft, California. After starting in second place, he gained the lead on the second lap and never let it go.

Brandy Richards remains undefeated for the season in WORCS Women Pro, taking her latest victory despite a crash which injured her wrist during the race. Again, proving that it takes more than an injury to keep her down, she went on to take second place in Pro Am the following day. WORCS motorcycle Round 6 was held April 16-18 in Taft, California.

GNCC Round 7, the John Penton, is scheduled for May 22-23 in Millfield, Ohio. WORCS’ next ATV/SXS round is scheduled for June 4-6, and the next motorcycle round is scheduled for June 11-13, both in Preston, Idaho.

Anderson, Baron Take WORCS Championships

Mitch Anderson clinched WORCS’ Pro 2 championship with a third-place race finish at Round 9, the final race of the season, and easily won the Open A title as well. Beau Baron took second place in the Pro ATV race as well as second place for the year, and won the SxS Pro Stock championship. WORCS’ Round 9 was held October 26-28 in Primm, Nevada.

Anderson took a spot on the podium at every Pro 2 WORCS race this year, and took a victory at Round 3. He racked up a total of 152 points in 2018.

In Open A, Anderson earned the championship by winning five of the six races in which he competed, including the season finale. He accumulated 141 points, 17 more than the second-place rider, by the season’s end, and also took second place overall in 450 A. “My program wouldn’t be where it is without CST tires,” he said. “A lot of credit goes to CST for sticking with me this year.”

Baron finished the season just one point away from first place in Pro ATV standings. He took four wins and turned in three second-place finishes this year. “One point; that’s all it is,” he said. “I won more races than anyone else this year, but it didn’t work out in my favor. I’m definitely bummed, but we’ll work hard on next year.”

The news was much better for Baron in SxS Pro Stock. After six turns on the podium, including two victories, he took the class championship with a total of 180 points for the year, an eight-point margin over the next rider.

Baron, Neal Take Fans Along as They Race Maxxis PVD Racing Endurance Moto

CST’s sponsored riders Beau Baron and Brycen Neal are primed and ready to face world-class competition in the Pont de Vaux Maxxis Mondial du Quad, or Maxxis 12-Hour PVD Racing Endurance Moto. The grueling race begins this week, running from August 23 through the 26th in Pont de Vaux, France.

Starting Tuesday, August 21, the two are also taking over CST’s Instagram account to let fans in on both the fun and the intense last-minute prep for the race. Both riders are having a banner year: Baron currently leads WORCS’ Pro class in points, and Neal ranks third in points for the GNCC’s XC1 Pro class.

In a surprising last-minute development, the Maxxis 12-Hour PVD Racing Endurance Moto has been made even more challenging for the two CST riders. The third member of the team, Maxxis’ Jarrod McClure, suffered a broken collarbone and as a result, Baron and Neal will be riding six hours each. CST wishes Jarrod McClure a swift recovery and looks forward to seeing him back in the action soon.

1st WORCS Pro 2 Win for Anderson at Round 4

1st WORCS Pro 2 Win for Anderson at Round 4

Riding CST tires, Mitch Anderson dominated WORCS’ Pro 2 race to take his first-ever win in the series’ class. Round 4 was held March 23-25 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

After taking the lead early in the race, Anderson was unstoppable, correctly gauging the quickest route around the sandy, rocky, lakeside course and using the notoriously tricky Lagoon Jump to increase his advantage. “I took the first lap and figured out the lines early. From there I pushed hard, got the lead and just rode my own race. This is my first Pro 2 win in the WORCS series ever. I’m kind of speechless, but happy. A lot of work goes into this, and it’s good to see it paying off,” he told worcsracing.com. His win also vaulted Anderson into the class points lead.

Anderson praised his CST tires as instrumental to his victory. “The CST Tires worked great,” he said. “I ran the CST Desert to compensate for the sand and soft terrain. They worked phenomenal the whole race.”

Baron Wins WORCS’ SXS Pro Stock Round 3

CST’s Beau Baron powered ahead of his competition to take the win at WORCS’ latest SXS Pro Stock race. Round 3 was held March 16 in Lake Havasu, Arizona.

“I got a second-place start behind Matt Hancock, and there was a rhythm section along the back straightaway,” Baron told worcsracing.com. “We came into that last one; he checked up, and I never lifted, so I launched half a car length in front of him and took off in the lead. [Randy] Romo started running me down, and he got close at the end.” But Baron held onto his lead and crossed the finish line in 41:20.101.

📷Harlen Foley

He was on track to take a double win for the weekend when he moved into the lead in the Pro ATV race. A mechanical failure sidelined him and prevented that victory, however.

With this win plus his previous results, which include a podium at Round 2, Baron leads the SXS Pro Stock class in series points to date. In WORCS racing he is currently third in points for SXS Pro, and fifth overall in Pro ATV. Three rounds into the District 37 Big 6 Grand Prix series, he’s undefeated in Quad Expert, leading the class in points.

WORCS’ next SXS race is scheduled for March 23 in Lake Havasu. CST congratulates Beau Baron on this victory and on taking the lead in the race for the SXS Pro championship.

CST Tires’ Strong ATV Roster Ready to Win Championships in 2018; New Riders Include Neal and Gennusa

CST Tires’ Strong ATV Roster Ready to Win Championships in 2018; New Riders Include Neal and Gennusa

With a sponsorship roster that includes returning stars and newly signed champions, CST Tires continues to step up its game in the world of ATV and off-road motorcycle racing. The company has built on solid results from last season by recruiting a powerhouse line-up for 2018.

“We have a deep roster this year, and we know that all of these riders are fully capable of winning a championship on CST tires. We’re very confident about our prospects,” said Chris Meyer, marketing coordinator for CST Tires.

New riders include eight-time ATVMX champion Nick Gennusa, who will again contest that series’ Pro class, and Brycen Neal, who’s gunning for the GNCC Pro title after taking second overall last season. Michael Swift will ride for CST in GNCC’s 4×4 Pro, UTV Pro, and Ace classes, as well as competing in the Heartland Challenge. Swift’s GNCC competition in 4×4 Pro and UTV Pro will include fellow CST rider Kevin Trantham, who is also new to the company’s roster.

CST’s returning stars include nine-time WORCS champion Beau Baron, who will compete in WORCS Pro ATV and Pro SxS, as well as Quad Cross and the Big 6 series in 2018. Adam McGill, who rode CST to fifth place overall in GNCC’s Pro class and appeared on the podium seven times in 2017, will work to leave his competition in the dust in the GNCC, IXCR ATV Pro Overall, and WEXCR Pro Overall. No stranger to the ATVMX podium, Thomas Brown will compete in that series’ Pro class, plus Pont de Vaux and QXON.

Desert racer Cory Sappington will again compete in both Best in the Desert and the SCORE-International series. Like his new teammates Swift and Trantham, Dwight Pollard is scheduled to race in GNCC’s 4×4 Pro class. Pollard will also compete in the series’ XC3 SxS class, as well as the Heartland Challenge, Mid East, SORCS, and IXCR. Sean Bogdan will compete in GNCC UTV XC1 Pro, and Justin Wood will race the series’ 4×4 Senior A class.

Racing motorcycles for CST will be Mitch Anderson. Among Mitch’s accomplishments during the past year was a team victory at the John Burr 10 Hours of Glen Helen.

CST is proud to welcome all of its riders to its strongest ATV roster yet, and looks forward to cheering them on to victory throughout the year.
