Hetrick Wins on CST’s Pulse MXR Tires at ATV MX Nationals Round 2

Riding CST’s Pulse MXR tires, Joel Hetrick dominated Round 2 of the ATV MX National Championships, winning both motos to take the overall victory.

After grabbing the holeshot in the first moto, Hetrick (Phoenix Racing/CST Tires/Elka/Walsh Race Craft/Moose Racing) held the lead to the finish line. He again took the lead soon after the start of Moto 2 and rode unchallenged through the rest of the race. Hetrick’s Yamaha was equipped with Pulse MXRs, and he used the front tire’s optimal traction, steering and cornering and the rear tire’s terrain-specific compound to seal his victory.

Nick Gennusa (GennUSA Racing/Integrated Concepts/CST Tires/Walsh Race Craft) also did well at Round 2, going 4-6 in both motos. Hetrick and Gennusa are second and fourth in the series’ standings.

The next round of the ATV MX National Championships is scheduled for May 15-16 at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania.
