Joel Hetrick is on track to achieve a milestone even beyond clinching his fifth ATV MX National Championship, as he did this past weekend at Briarcliff MX Park in Nashport, Ohio. With just one round left this year, he’s heading toward the first perfect season in the history of the series.
Riding CST’s Pulse MXR tires, the undefeated Hetrick added Round 9 to his tally by sweeping both motos at Briarcliff MX Park in Nashport, Ohio. With 425 points to his credit, his 75-point lead would be impossible to overcome. If he aces Round 10, scheduled for August 10-11 at Loretta Lynn’s, that perfect season is in his grasp.
Hetrick won’t have time to bask in his accomplishment once the season’s over, however. As a member of Team USA along with fellow CST athlete Bryce Ford, he’ll compete to bring home the gold in the Quadcross of Nations (QXON), scheduled for September 28-29 in the Czech Republic.
Ford is second in ATV MX points for the year, and Nick Gennusa, Ford and Jeffrey Rastrelli were fourth, fifth and sixth at Briarcliff.
CST is rooting for Joel Hetrick to take the first perfect season in ATV MX National Championship history and congratulates him on locking up his fifth series championship.

CST’s Brycen Neal and Joel Hetrick dominated the competition at GNCC and ATV MX National Championship races this weekend.
This weekend was another in a series of triumphs for CST-sponsored athletes. In West Virginia, Brycen Neal kept up his dominance of this season’s GNCC, securing a thrilling win at Snowshoe Mountain, while in Illinois, Joel Hetrick remained undefeated in the 2024 ATV MX National Championship with victories in both motos at Round 7, Sunset Ridge.
Riding Pulse MXR tires, Hetrick took the top spot at Round 7 despite scorching temperatures, the result of a heat wave that has bedeviled much of the eastern half of the U.S. for the past week. He’s won both motos at every round to date this year and leads AT MX rankings by 47 points with a total of 325.
The win at Snowshoe was Neal’s seventh out of nine rounds and extends his lead in ATV XC1 standings to 51 points, for a total of 252. With just four rounds to go, his odds of taking a third GNCC championship continued to improve. Neal navigated the demanding Snowshoe course (including Howard’s Hole) with exceptional skill, overtaking his competition in the final laps. Reflecting on his triumph, he shared on Instagram, “We conquered the mountain!! Stoked to grab the W on one of the best @snowshoemtn tracks we’ve ever had! The fans were unreal this weekend!! The mountain never disappoints!!” His choice of Pulse HT tires proved crucial once again, providing optimal traction and durability on Snowshoe’s rugged terrain.
GNCC Round 10, the Buckwheat 100, is scheduled for August 30 – September 1 in Newburg, West Virginia, and ATV MX Round 8 will be held July 6-7 at Pleasure Valley Raceway in Seward, Pennsylvania.

Sponsorship of successful athletes and creation of race-proven tires aside, CST was only recently considered a newcomer to ATV racing – but those days are in the rearview mirror. Joel Hetrick rounded out a wildly successful ATV MX National Championship season by taking the title at Loretta Lynn’s August 13, the first-ever ATV MX Pro-class Championship won on the company’s tires. CST-sponsored riders took a total of four overall top ten spots.
The championship was the third for Hetrick, who won both motos at Loretta Lynn’s August 13 to secure his title. “We did it, 8 months into the 2022 year and we got the job done. Stamping it with a 1-1 overall win at the ranch feels amazing. The first pro season where I’ve held the points lead the entire time and also earned my 50th overall win as well. I have dedicated 8 months of consistent training/riding and it paid off,” he said on Instagram. For most of the season, Hetrick relied on CST Pulse MXR tires, trusting their versatility on hard or soft terrain plus their excellent traction, steering and cornering.
Hetrick earned six wins and four second-place finishes for a total of 451 points in the season’s ten races, taking the championship with a 34-point margin. Fellow CST riders Nick Gennusa and Jeffrey Rastrelli also made the overall top ten, taking fifth and sixth places. Gennusa took fourth place at Loretta Lynn’s, and Rastrelli earned ninth place.
Next up for Hetrick is the Quadcross of European Nations. He’ll ride for Team USA in the race, scheduled for September 24-25 at the Kramolin track in the Czech Republic.

CST’s athletes are not messing around this year; they’re going straight for the top of the podium and dominating the top of major series’ point standings. With his fourth straight WORCS win in as many rounds, Beau Baron is riding high in the Pro ATV class, while Joel Hetrick took the victory at AMA Pro Racing ATV MX National Championships Round 2.
Baron’s CST Pulse HT tires haven’t let him down this season, including at Round 4, held at Honolulu Hills Raceway in Taft, California. He started strong, taking the holeshot and then fighting a pitched battle all the way to the finish line. Baron continues to lead the Pro class in points. “Round 4 of #ProATV went well! A hard fought win after grabbing the @eliminatorracing/@jsrmotodesigns holeshot is a good feeling! Now time to jump in the RZR!!” he said on Instagram.
Hetrick won both motos at ATV MX Saturday. “All smiles this weekend @3palmsmx. Came out strong in qualifying taking P1. Followed it up with a win in moto 1 and another win in moto 2! Stoked on my performance and the @phxracingatv Yamaha was working amazing! @dasaracing motor was ripping and my @csttiresusa were gripping. My @impact_solutions tuned @elkasuspension shocks were on point Saturday as well. I can’t be more happy with how the weekend went and I am so thankful that my family was able to travel with me to see it happen,” he said on Instagram. CST’s Jeffrey Rastrelli also did well at Three Palms, taking fifth place. Hetrick now holds a 13-point lead in the chase for the championship, with 75 points to date, and Rastrelli is fourth overall.

Joel Hetrick showed the competition how it’s done at the ATV MX National Championship season opener, winning the overall at the iconic Daytona International Speedway. CST Tires’ Jeffrey Rastrelli joined him on the podium in third place.
Both athletes rode CST Pulse MXR tires to the ATV MX podium. “I am so happy with my performance today and my team as well,” Hetrick said on Instagram. “@phxracingatv had my quad dialed in all day long despite the conditions. Grabbing the fastest qualifier, a heat race win and the main event win felt amazing! The emotions were real today after the main event. I’ve had some bad runs at Daytona, but today, I felt different. All of the training and riding @deckertrainingfacility was such a huge help for this race. Had a great battle most of the race until I was able to make it to the lead and bring home the win! Things don’t always go as planned, but I told myself going into this race I was going to win, and I did just that. Such a crazy start to the 2022 race season, but I am thankful to come out of this race healthy and on top. Time to go back to work for Round 2!!”
Rastrelli was also thrilled with his WORCS Daytona results. “Stoked to leave @daytona on the box! The track was very hard to pass on and rough. I struggled a bit halfway through the main event but started to turn it around at the end. We have some things to work on, but I am happy to leave with a podium. Back to work and onto Texas! Thank you so much to everyone that came to support me yesterday! It was amazing to see how many people came to support me from friends to family.. thank you!” he said on Instagram.
Hetrick’s win is the latest in a string of victories for CST athletes, who topped three podiums at WORCS Round 3. Chris Johnson took a victory in SxS, winning the Pro Stock class, while Beau Baron won the Pro race and later made another trip to the top of the podium when he took first place in SxS Pro Production. Ryan Piplic did well in the Mint 400, taking sixth place in UTV Pro Turbo.

Thomas Brown is riding CST tires to a certified hot streak. Brown’s first ATVMX win of the year came shortly after news that he’ll ride for the US in this year’s Quadcross of European Nations (QXON).
At Saturday’s RedBud race, Round 9 of the ATVMX National Championship presented by CST Tires, Brown took third place in the first moto. However, as the next moto would show, he was just warming up. Despite a track made slick by heavy rain, Brown grabbed the lead in the moto’s first half and held it through the finish. The win gave the Tbrown84 Training/CST Tires rider his fourth trip to the podium so far this season; he’s currently third in points for the series.
Brown is one of three US riders who will defend Team USA’s QXON championship against world-class competition. QXON will feature a 25-minute moto during each day of the event. “I am super honored to be selected as a part of Team USA again. I am looking forward to heading across the big pond to defend our title in Denmark. We have a great team with Jeffrey [Rastrelli], Chad [Wienen] and myself. This should be an awesome race,” Brown said. QXON is scheduled for September 22-23 in Slagelse, Denmark.
To learn more about QXON, please visit http://slagelsemx.com/. The final round of the ATVMX season is scheduled for August 11 at Loretta Lynn’s in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. CST congratulates Thomas Brown on his Round 9 ATVMX overall win, and wishes Brown and his teammates the best as they compete against some of the world’s best riders and bring home QXON gold once again.

CST’s Thomas Brown and Nick Gennusa both made the top five at the season opener of the ATV MX National Championship presented by CST Tires. Brown earned fourth place, with Gennusa in fifth at the race, held March 13 at Daytona International Speedway.
Going into the second round, Brown racked up 18 points toward his season total, and Gennusa accumulated 16. ATV MX presented by CST Tires’ Round 2, South of the Border, is scheduled for March 24-25 in Hamer, South Carolina.
CST thanks Thomas Brown and Nick Gennusa for an outstanding start to the season.
With a sponsorship roster that includes returning stars and newly signed champions, CST Tires continues to step up its game in the world of ATV and off-road motorcycle racing. The company has built on solid results from last season by recruiting a powerhouse line-up for 2018.
“We have a deep roster this year, and we know that all of these riders are fully capable of winning a championship on CST tires. We’re very confident about our prospects,” said Chris Meyer, marketing coordinator for CST Tires.
New riders include eight-time ATVMX champion Nick Gennusa, who will again contest that series’ Pro class, and Brycen Neal, who’s gunning for the GNCC Pro title after taking second overall last season. Michael Swift will ride for CST in GNCC’s 4×4 Pro, UTV Pro, and Ace classes, as well as competing in the Heartland Challenge. Swift’s GNCC competition in 4×4 Pro and UTV Pro will include fellow CST rider Kevin Trantham, who is also new to the company’s roster.
CST’s returning stars include nine-time WORCS champion Beau Baron, who will compete in WORCS Pro ATV and Pro SxS, as well as Quad Cross and the Big 6 series in 2018. Adam McGill, who rode CST to fifth place overall in GNCC’s Pro class and appeared on the podium seven times in 2017, will work to leave his competition in the dust in the GNCC, IXCR ATV Pro Overall, and WEXCR Pro Overall. No stranger to the ATVMX podium, Thomas Brown will compete in that series’ Pro class, plus Pont de Vaux and QXON.
Desert racer Cory Sappington will again compete in both Best in the Desert and the SCORE-International series. Like his new teammates Swift and Trantham, Dwight Pollard is scheduled to race in GNCC’s 4×4 Pro class. Pollard will also compete in the series’ XC3 SxS class, as well as the Heartland Challenge, Mid East, SORCS, and IXCR. Sean Bogdan will compete in GNCC UTV XC1 Pro, and Justin Wood will race the series’ 4×4 Senior A class.
Racing motorcycles for CST will be Mitch Anderson. Among Mitch’s accomplishments during the past year was a team victory at the John Burr 10 Hours of Glen Helen.
CST is proud to welcome all of its riders to its strongest ATV roster yet, and looks forward to cheering them on to victory throughout the year.
CST’s reputation as a top brand for ATV racing continues to grow as the company’s sponsored riders take victories and podiums in major series.
Adam McGill turned in his best performance of the season at GNCC Round 4, taking an early lead and holding it for much of the first two laps. After a fierce battle with Walker Fowler through the rest of the race, he took second place despite being slowed during the final two laps by mechanical issues. His performance moved him into third place in the overall national championship standings.
At ATV Motocross National Championship (ATVMX) presented by CST Tires Round 2 at Underground MX Park, Thomas Brown made a late-racepass and rode CST’s new Pulse MXR to second place in Moto 1. A similar pass earned him third place in Moto 2, and Brown earned second place overall for the round. Brown is third in the ATMX overall national standings.
Beau Baron, who leads WORCS’ Pro standings, was undefeated in the series’ first four Pro rounds and most recently took second place in both Pro and Pro SxS at Round 6, The Orleans. “The CST Tires are awesome. The rears worked so well, especially. I couldn’t see running anything else here, especially considering the different surfaces,” he said regarding his tires’ performance during The Orleans.
He had just as much praise for his CST tires after The Orleans’ Pro SxS race. “I tried driving it like a go-kart and get as much traction as I could in the turns,” said Baron. “My CST Tires were working great. They just had so much traction.”
Also this weekend, Baron claimed second in Pro II at Round 4 of the Big 6 Grand Prix Series, a performance that followed his wins in the class at the series’ second and third rounds.
CST is proud to sponsor all of these fine riders and is thrilled to cheer them on as they earn victories and podiums throughout the rest of the season.
