BAS Auto Sport

BAS Auto Sport

What once started as sweeping a garage at the age of 13, with his first Land Rover (a Range Rover Classic) at the age of 14, has grown into a serious profession that is known beyond the borders. Bas stands for passion, quality, service and making all customer wishes possible, where he sets the bar high for himself and his team. He has built up his expertise through his extensive work experience and his passion for Land Rover.

Ryan Piplic

Three-time WORCS champion Ryan Piplic will ride CST tires as he competes for a fourth SxS Pro title this year.

Piplic approaches the coming season with well-earned confidence: he was the winner of the UTV World Championship in 2020, is a previous Guinness World Record holder for longest jump in a SxS, and has raced and finished the brutal Baja 1000.

Dwight Pollard

Dwight Pollard

Dwight Pollard is no stranger to CST, having ridden the company’s tires to the 2020 IXCR Pro Turbo championship, second overall in GNCC 4×4 Pro in 2019, and the 2019 4×4 Pro AXCC championship. He was also defending his AXCC title in 2020 and held the lead in points when a shoulder injury sidelined him for the final four rounds.

He’s racked up this impressive list of accomplishments despite not starting his racing career until after he finished high school.  During the past five years, Dwight has also accumulated a near-comprehensive knowledge of CST tires, with positive reviews for every one he’s ridden.

In 2021, Dwight will race his Can Am Maverick X3 RR in IXCR, MidAmerica, the TeXPlex UTV Race Series, and the Heartland Challenge, and in every event, he’ll be riding one of the CST models which have performed so well for him over the past five years. His assessment of those tires is below.

Joel Hetrick

Joel is a two-time winner of the ATV MX National Championship, and he’s gunning for a third title in 2021.

He came close in 2020, winning five of the season’s ten races, taking second place in four events, and coming in second overall for the year. Riding CST’s Pulse tires, he’s feeling good about his chances to take the big prize again.

No stranger to the top of the podium, Joel competed locally long before he raced for major titles, eventually winning seven youth championships. As a pro, in addition to winning his ATV MX titles, he’s twice ridden on the winning US team in the grueling Quadcross of European Nations.

Prior to the start of the season, Joel said that he was stoked to be riding CST this year: “I am very happy with the transition over to the CST Pulse MXR tires! I have been riding on them for my entire pre-season training so far and have been really liking them in sand and hard-pack. Can’t wait to see what the season brings, making the switch to a Yamaha and now the CST tires. I think it’s going to be a hard combination to beat!”

Mitch Anderson

Mitch Anderson

Mitch Anderson riding out of Paso Robles, California. I’m 22 years old, and I’ve been racing since I was 5. Between my dad Racing bikes, quads, cars, shifter carts and everything in between and my mom competing with horses, I was born with a competitive nature. Outside of the races, I’m super simple.

Brycen Neal

Brycen Neal

Brycen Neal was second overall in GNCC XC1 Pro in 2017, and this year, he’s ready to take the top overall spot.

Neal has a long list of titles to his credit (complete record below), and he’s chosen CST tires because he knows he can count on their performance. “I ride for Team CST because CST tires grip the ground like glue and are so smooth it’s like sliding across the water on a jet ski,” he said.

He’s a born competitor who psyches up for big races by watching Rocky 4, and he loves having fans who love the sport as much as he does at his events: “I love it when people watch me do what I love, when I’m in the zone stretching the throttle cable for all she’s got, and the adrenaline rush you get from it.” His real motivation, however, is closer to home. “My dad got me into racing when I was five. He rode his entire life and raced just like his dad before him. My biggest motivator is my dad. I’d love to be half the man he is someday,” Neal said.

When he’s not racing, Neal makes sure to hit the gym and also manages to fit in mountain biking, reading books about war, and of course, playing with his puppy, Bella. CST is proud to sponsor Brycen Neal and looks forward to seeing him top the podium throughout 2018.

Nick Gennusa

Nick Gennusa

Nick Gennusa might be young, but he’s already a racing veteran.

Riding since the age of three and racing since age eight, Gennusa has been racking up victories and championships ever since. The winner of the 2015 ATV MX Pro Am championship, he’s also in previous years won the series’ Open A, Production A, and Super-Mini championships. Gennusa made the move to the Pro class in 2016, and he’s been steadily climbing the ranks of the top ten, finishing fourth overall in 2017 and fifth the year before.

He’s riding CST tires on his Honda TRX450R, and says the choice was an easy one. “Why would I not want to race with the best tire out there? Try CST yourself, and you will see what I’m talking about. It’s simple.” CST is confident that Nick Gennusa will be a strong contender for the ATV MX Pro championship throughout the 2018 season.

Beau Baron

Beau Baron is a natural-born rider. A 6 time WORCS champion, who has also conquered first place finishes in Side-by-Side. Everyone knows that if it’s got wheels and can be raced, Beau will take it all the way to the podium. Nowdays, he’s even riding Moto. But take away the championships and trophies and you’d still find Beau out riding every single day, just to get the rush you can only find off-road. Whether it’s the Pulse for ATV, Behemoth for SxS, or Legion MX for Moto – Beau Baron rides CST. Keep your eyes on #549 as he chases championships in the WORCS and Big 6 Series.

Cory Sappington

Cory Sappington

Cory Sappington has been riding since 1978. Since then, he has competed in over 200 off-road races. In 2005, Cory combined his Arizona origins and love of off-road racing to create the sport of UTV desert racing. Follow Cory as he makes the desert his domain with CST Lobo tires.
