On track for his fourth GNCC championship with five races left in the season, Brycen Neal kept a firm hold on his overall points lead at Round 8, the Parts Unlimited Mason-Dixon.
After a hard-fought race, Neal took third place by the narrowest of margins. His finish pushed his points total to 221; he’s appeared on the podium at every race of the season to date, including five times as the winner.
He gave an account of the race on Instagram: “The conditions this weekend was thickkk and heavy with mud! We jumped out to a great start this weekend but got hit from behind in the first corner and almost rolled it. Battled back all day long and lead some laps! But ultimately we finished a P3 on the day. it’s been a great weekend, feeling very proud and happy being a new dad and getting to go home to my girls safe! Onto the mountain next, let’s go.”
Neal’s CST Pulse tires handled the muddy Mason-Dixon course with ease, with excellent traction, precise steering and confident cornering. And Neal is sure to use them at the next GNCC race, the Yamaha Snowshoe at the Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Snowshoe, West Virginia.
