CST is proud to support the following organizations in 2011:

International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA)

For more than 20 years, IMBA’s mission has been to create, enhance and protect trail experiences for mountain bikers worldwide. With members in all 50 United States as well as in 40 other countries, IMBA strives to bring out the best in mountain biking through education, trail construction, volunteer support and worldwide leadership. Through hard work and dedication, IMBA volunteers have created more than 5000 miles of new mountain biking trails worldwide. For 2011, CST and IMBA are teaming up to create the CST Trail Builders Program, for which CST will provide product support to volunteer trail builders in IMBA chapters across the nation.

Trips for Kids

Through the use of mountain biking, Trips for Kids helps at-risk youths learn personal responsibility, achievement and environmental awareness. With more than 60 chapters located all over the United States, Trips for Kids has opened the eyes of more than 60,000 underserved youths to the fun world of mountain biking. Trips for Kids also helps disadvantaged kids by providing the materials, moral support and inspiration that these youths may not otherwise receive.

Bikes Belong

Bikes Belong is a coalition that makes the lives of cyclists easier and more fun by getting more people on bikes more often. The organization works with the federal government to get the maximum funding possible for bicycling and awards grants to create better places for cyclists to ride. The organization is an integral part of helping cities and towns become more bicycle-friendly by sponsoring programs that promote people riding bicycles.
